68 pounds lost

I am up to 40 pounds lost since surgery and 68 pounds lost all together.

I have been having a little trouble this week. I feel very restricted and I am wondering if I should get a little fluid out of my band.  I am going to the Dr Monday to talk to him about it.

I feel a lot better. I am getting around a bit better and more.  I am at 274 and my goal is 200  so i do have 74 pounds to go.

my one month report

I went to the Dr. last week and got my 1 month weigh in 299. I have lost 15 pounds since surgery . Since April I have lost 40 + all together.
I had a fill. ( Which is where they put fluid in the band to make more of a restriction). they put in 2 cc's. Ill be getting another fill next week.

Things I have trouble with is Scrambled eggs, Grilled pork chops, beef. They just don't go down so good and is causes discomfort. I wont be eating these things !

I have not experienced any nausea or vomiting. which is good....

My incisions are almost all the way healed. Ill be able to go exercises in the pool soon. Hooray !!

Post op

Yesterday was my post op appointment. I have lost 11 pounds since surgery. I am sure allot of that is because of the liquid diet, however I am still excited.
At this point I am only sore If I bend to much. So I try not to do that.

I am up to softer solid foods such as canned chicken, tuna, some fruits in cups. Soft cheese like String cheese. I can also have whole wheat pastas. Cant forget the eggs and baked potato with no skins. Can never have spaghetti or angel hair though. They say people just don't chew them up good and they get stuck. I can also have a few cereals but you have to let them get really soft and I really don't like soggy cereal. Ill wait till I don't have to have it soggy.

I go in in 3 weeks to get my first fill.

Just thing's

So as soon as I wake up I like to drink some decaf. The warm liquid really sooths and calms down my stomach. I am up to eating thicker liquids. I have had pudding and cream of wheat. Even had tomato soup today. I am still drinking water and juice room temperature. I tried drinking some cold juice yesterday , I just am not ready for that.

Surgery was tuesday 8/25/2009

Surgery went well. I am doing good now. I just feel pressure from the gas and bloating. Wich will go away soon I hope . pre op weight 314
